  • Chief Minister Shri Sai asked, “Who sent the house?” Mohan said, “Modi ji did.”

A highly emotional, intimate, and public-spirited scene unfolded today in Lokhan village of Kabirdham district, when Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai not only accepted a simple invitation from an ordinary villager, but also transformed it into a memorable moment with his gesture. While his arrival in the village created an atmosphere of excitement and curiosity, the entire event also vividly showcased the cordial relationship between the government and the common people.

Today was the housewarming ceremony for Mohan Maravi, a resident of Lokhan village, whose new house was being renovated. Upon learning that the Chief Minister was visiting the village, he immediately rushed to the Chief Minister’s doorstep and invited him to his home. It was a truly loving request from a villager, which the Chief Minister readily accepted with the same ease and humility. He made the occasion special by visiting his home.

As soon as the Chief Minister arrived at Mohan Marawi’s home, a warm and family-like atmosphere prevailed. Without any formality, he broke a coconut, lit a lamp, and performed the housewarming ceremony with proper prayers. The satisfaction, pride, and joy reflected on the family members’ faces symbolized the realization of their dream home. The villagers present enthusiastically witnessed the moment and appreciated the Chief Minister’s simple style.

During this intimate conversation, the Chief Minister smilingly asked Mohan, “Who sent the housing?” Mohan replied simply, “Modi did.” This brief exchange filled the atmosphere with emotional depth and demonstrated how the implementation of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s guarantees is directly infusing hope and confidence into the lives of the people.

Chief Minister Shri Sai spoke in detail with Mohan Maravi and his family, learning about the construction process of their new home. Mohan explained that his home was built with funds received under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and his own hard work. Initially, his house was a mud house, but after receiving a housing approval for the year 2024-25, he felt inspired to build a permanent home. Despite limited resources, he built a strong and well-organized four-room house using bricks himself, a symbol of his hard work, determination, and self-reliance.

The Chief Minister lauded the quality, structure, and hard work of the house. He said that only when government schemes truly reach the last person, and the people’s own efforts and participation are added to them, can the true essence of development be revealed. Describing this initiative as an excellent example of self-reliance, public participation, and positive change, he said that such efforts strengthen the foundation of the state’s overall development.

Mohan Marawi also explained that he received the funds under the scheme in three installments, which he used responsibly and wisely. As a result, he was able to build a safe and dignified permanent home for his family.

The Chief Minister congratulated the entire family on their new house and wished them a bright future and described this occasion as an inspiring example for the village as well, which gives the message that every dream can come true through determination, hard work and coordination of government schemes.
