Every year, State Bravery Award is given to five boys and girls for their indomitable courage in a particular incident. Under this, five boys and girls will be given Rs 25,000 each and a citation as a reward. Applications have been invited till January 2 for the State Bravery Award to be given to the children of the state by the Chhattisgarh government.
Applicants can submit applications to the District Office of Women and Child Development Department by 2 January 2025. For the award, the age of the boy or girl should be up to 18 years on the date of the incident. The act of bravery should be between 1 January 2024 and 31 December 2024. The applicant must be a resident of Chhattisgarh. Any boy or girl can receive this award only once.
The entries must contain complete introduction of the boy or girl and detailed information with proof of the work done by the boy or girl in the field of indomitable courage, bravery and intelligence in a particular incident. The applicant must also attach a certificate that the achievement is based on actual facts. Along with this, clippings of newspaper/magazine, police diary showing the details of the incident as well as two passport size photographs of the boy or girl verified by the competent authority must be attached. Detailed description of the incident (certified by the competent authority) and other relevant documents must be submitted.
