Bridges are a strong infrastructure for a prosperous and accessible rural India – Minister Shri Tank Ram Verma

  • Revenue Minister Verma performed the Bhoomi Pujan of the Navapara-Sakari-Satbhava road to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 7.82 crore.

Revenue Minister Tankaram Verma stated that robust infrastructure is essential for a prosperous and accessible rural India. Bridges not only connect two ends, but also connect lives, opportunities, and possibilities for development. These structures serve as the backbone, connecting villages to markets, education, health services, and employment. Revenue Minister Tankaram Verma today performed the groundbreaking ceremony for the Navapara-Sakari-Satbhava road construction in Sakri village of Simga development block in Balodabazar-Bhatapara district. This road, including bridges, will be constructed at a cost of ₹78.25 million.

Addressing the program, Minister Mr. Verma said that the road construction will greatly facilitate transportation for the people of the area and accelerate rural development. He added that the state government is continuously working to strengthen infrastructure, and this time, several important roads have been approved for construction in the district. A network of better roads is being laid in the state, which will further strengthen the connectivity of villages with cities.

Minister Mr. Verma stated that the government is continuously working in the interest of farmers. After purchasing paddy at the support price, a lump sum payment of the remaining amount under the Krishak Unnati Yojana was also made to farmers before Holi. He stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Vishnu Dev Sai, most of Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi’s guarantees have been fulfilled. Everyone must work together to realize the pledge of a developed India in 2047. District President Dr. Daulatram Pal, District Panchayat Member Dr. Mohan Verma, public representatives, and a large number of villagers were present on the occasion.
