Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has announced that the theme for Madhya Pradesh Foundation Day celebration on November 1 will be ‘Industry and Employment Year’. The state will showcase innovations and key activities related to Atmanirbhar Bharat (self-reliant India) and Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh, with impactful presentations highlighting progress in these areas. Under the theme “Industries are Temples of Employment,” programs will focus on skill development, technical education, entrepreneurship, and youth empowerment for employment and self-reliance.
Religious, cultural and tourism activities that have boosted the state’s economy will be showcased along with achievements from the past two years and innovations across various sectors. The Chief Minister emphasised that the Foundation Day should be observed as a state festival, with grand celebrations not only at the main event in Bhopal but also at district and divisional headquarters throughout the state.
Playback singer Jubin Nautiyal will Perform
Famous playback singer Jubin Nautiyal will perform at the state-level program on November 1 in Bhopal’s Lal Parade Ground. The event will include devotional performances dedicated to Shri Krishna, a drone show themed “Heritage to Development,” and fireworks. On November 2 and 3, the grand play ‘Samrat Vikramaditya’ and musical concerts will take place at the same venue.
Events will Highlight the Industrial and Economic Achievements
The Foundation Day events will also highlight the state’s industrial and economic achievements. Several beneficiaries of government schemes, along with major industrialists and contributors to the state’s economy, will be honored. Activities will be organised equally across all regions of the state, and each district will showcase its progress and achievements at the local level. The celebrations will highlight efforts by self-help groups, ITIs, polytechnics and other institutions associated with youth and women’s empowerment, along with initiatives by farmers’ organizations.
Exhibitions and Fair of Swadeshi Dishes
Exhibitions will be held on various themes, including the lives and contributions of prominent leaders, ‘One District–One Product’, Emperor Vikramaditya and Indian spiritual traditions, both in Bhopal and at district headquarters. Events to be organised from November 1 to 3 will be a forest fair, a drone tech workshop, a traditional arts expo, and a festival of indigenous cuisine. Chief Secretary Shri Anurag Jain and key advisors, with senior officials, were present at the meeting to plan these diverse events.
