- Horticulture and Agriculture Department jointly awarded first prize
- Awarded at the 13th National Review Conference held in Bengaluru
Chhattisgarh has been declared the best state in the country for its excellent implementation of the Prime Minister’s Crop Insurance Scheme and the Restructured Weather-Based Crop Insurance Scheme. The Horticulture and Agriculture Departments were jointly awarded the first prize.
The Chief Minister and Agriculture Minister congratulated the Chhattisgarh government’s officials on this achievement. This award is a major achievement for the state’s farmers and reflects the success of the state government’s agricultural policies.
The award was presented at the 13th National Review Conference held in Bengaluru, Karnataka, on January 18-19, 2026. Mr. Neeraj Shaha, Joint Director-in-Charge, received the award on behalf of the Department of Horticulture.
