Chief Minister Shri Sai will transfer an amount of Rs 27.15 crore to the bank accounts of workers in Jashpur on March 28.

A district level workers’ conference will be held at Vashisht Community Hall in Jashpur, the district headquarters, on Saturday, March 28, at 1 p.m. under the chief patronage of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai. Under 12 different workers’ welfare schemes under the Labour Department, the Chief Minister will transfer an amount of Rs 27.15 crore to 79,340 construction workers and their families directly into the beneficiaries’ bank accounts through DBT.
The program will be presided over by State Labor Minister Shri Lakhan Lal Devangan. Finance Minister Shri OP Choudhary will be the special guest, Lok Sabha MP Shri Radheshyam Rathiya will be the special guest, Chhattisgarh Building and Other Construction Workers’ Welfare Board Chairman Dr. Ram Pratap Singh and other public representatives will be present.
Chhattisgarh Building and Other Construction Workers Board Secretary Girish Ramteke informed that under Didi E-Rickshaw Assistance Scheme, 14 beneficiaries were given Rs. 14 lakh 32 thousand, under Minimata Mahatari Jatan Scheme, 1960 workers were given Rs. 3 crore 92 lakh, under Chief Minister Construction Labourer Safety Equipment Assistance Scheme, 297 workers were given Rs. 44 lakh 55 thousand, under Chief Minister Construction Labourer Death and Disability Assistance Scheme, 20 beneficiaries were given Rs. 20 lakh, under Chief Minister Noni Babu Meritorious Education Assistance Scheme, 325 workers’ children were given Rs. 38 lakh 88 thousand 374, under Chief Minister Noni Babu Meritorious Education Assistance Scheme, 3040 workers were given Rs. 6 crore 08 lakh, under Chief Minister Noni Empowerment Assistance Scheme, 71220 workers’ children were given Rs. 14 crore 53 lakh 96 thousand 500 under Chief Minister Naunihal Scholarship Scheme, 1142 workers were given Rs. 39 lakh 50 thousand 624 under Chief Minister Labourer Tool Assistance Scheme. Under the Chief Minister’s Laborer’s Sion Assistance Scheme, Rs. 1 crore 52 lakh will be transferred to 526 beneficiaries, under the Chief Minister’s Cycle Assistance Scheme, Rs. 29 lakh 04 thousand 082 will be transferred to 784 laborers, under the Chief Minister’s Construction Laborer’s Housing Assistance Scheme, Rs. 9 lakh will be transferred to 9 beneficiaries, under the Chief Minister’s Construction Laborer’s Longevity Assistance Scheme, Rs. 60 thousand will be transferred to 3 laborers.
