Under the call of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’, a tree plantation program was organized in the residential complex of Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly today. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai planted a vine plant there in honor of his mother. Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Dr. Raman Singh planted Sitaphal, Leader of Opposition Dr. Charandas Mahant planted Hanuman fruit and Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao planted a Neem plant.

In a massive tree plantation program at the Vidhan Sabha residential complex, Agriculture Minister Mr. Ramvichar Netam planted Ramphal, Forest Minister Mr. Kedar Kashyap planted Mahua, Food Minister Mr. Dayaldas Baghel planted Amla, Labor Minister Mr. Lakhan Lal Devangan and Women and Child Development Minister Mrs. Laxmi Rajwade planted Harra, Health Minister Mr. Shyam Bihari Jaiswal planted Laxman fruit, Finance Minister Mr. O.P. Choudhary planted Bael and Revenue Minister Mr. Tankaram Verma planted Peepal.

In the tree plantation program, MLAs and senior officials of the state government also planted trees in the memory and honor of their mothers. More than a hundred plants of different species were planted in the program today. Forest department officials said that an ecological park is being developed in an area of ​​50 acres in the residential complex of the Vidhan Sabha. In this connection, a massive tree plantation program has been organized here today under the campaign ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’.
