- Senior Administrative Officials from Key Departments Given Necessary Directives
Chhattisgarh Chief Secretary Mr. Vikas-sheel chaired a high-level review meeting today at the Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhawan with the Secretaries in-charge of all state government departments. During the meeting, a detailed department-wise review was conducted regarding the current status of sanctioned, filled, and vacant posts across various administrative departments of the state.
The Chief Secretary inquired about the progress of recruitment examinations being conducted by the Chhattisgarh Staff Selection Board (Vyapam) and the status of requisitions (indent letters) submitted to them. Additionally, details were sought regarding approvals received from the Finance Department for filling vacancies, the status of previously advertised posts, and appointments made to date. The meeting also involved in-depth discussions on potential posts to be notified by the General Administration Department for the year 2027 and the status of updated recruitment rules across all departments.
The primary objective of the meeting was to accelerate recruitment processes in government departments, update rules, and formulate a clear roadmap for planning in the coming years. Senior administrative officials from various key departments and office-bearers of the Chhattisgarh Staff Selection Board attended this high-level review meeting.
