On the auspicious occasion of the holy month of Sawan, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, accompanied by his wife Smt. Kaushalya Sai, visited the revered Phaleshwarnath Mahadev Temple in Bagiya and performed traditional rituals and worship for the well-being, prosperity, and happiness of the people of the state.
During the visit, the Chief Minister also attended a spiritual discourse on Shiv Mahapuran being delivered by renowned Kishori Rajkumari Tiwari.
Speaking on the occasion, CM Sai said, “May the blessings of Lord Bholenath remain upon all of us, and may our country and Chhattisgarh continue to move forward on the path of development, peace, and prosperity.” He added that with the grace of Lord Shiva, the Chhattisgarh government is working with full dedication for the welfare of the state. “Attracted by our new industrial policy, the state has received investment proposals worth approximately ₹6.5 lakh crore in the past six to eight months. The government has also created job opportunities for youth through various government recruitments,” he said.
As part of the event, a grand spiritual ceremony of 1,08,000 Parthiv Shivling creations and special worship rituals was held at the temple complex. The three-day event, which began on July 22, concluded today (July 24) with full adherence to traditional scriptures and rituals. A large number of devotees enthusiastically participated in the sacred event, contributing to the Parthiv Shivling creations with deep devotion and faith. The rituals were conducted by eminent scholars and priests following strict scriptural guidelines, turning the entire atmosphere into a spiritually charged and devotional space.
Prominent attendees included District Panchayat President Shri Salik Sai, Commissioner Shri Narendra Dugga, IG Shri Deepak Kumar Jha, Collector Shri Rohit Vyas, SP Shri Shashimohan Singh, District Panchayat CEO Shri Abhishek Kumar, along with public representatives and a large gathering of villagers.
