CVO of Coal India, Mr. Brajesh Kumar Tripathi, visited the Dipka area

  • On the second day of the SECL tour, the CVO of Coal India visited the Dipka mine and interacted with the officials of Mega Projects regarding vigilance.

On the second day of the SECL tour, today, October 7, 2025, Mr. Brajesh Kumar Tripathi, the Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of Coal India Limited, visited the Dipka area.

Mr. Tripathi held a meeting with the heads of major departments in the area and subsequently inspected the mine view point, where he reviewed the ongoing mining operations and future plans through the detailed mine plan of the area.

Under the campaigns “One Tree in the Name of Mother” and “One Tree in the Name of Vigilance,” he planted a sapling near the new silo complex.

During the plantation, Mr. Tripathi also interacted with Ms. Kirti KG, the environmental manager handling environmental work in Dipka, and appreciated the increasing participation and empowerment of women in the industry.

After the mine inspection, Mr. Tripathi participated in a dialogue session with officials from the Dipka, Gevra, Kusmunda, and Korba areas. He stated that every coal Indian today is a strong foundation for the country’s progress. He urged everyone to work fearlessly and to abandon fear.

Addressing the officials and employees, Mr. Tripathi reiterated his inspiring slogan “Those who win are Coal Indians” and encouraged everyone to work with vigilance, excellence, and integrity.

During the visit, Mr. N. Franklin Jaikumar, Director Technical (Operations), Mr. Himanshu Jain, Chief Vigilance Officer, and other senior officials were also present.
