Education Minister’s directive provides major relief to students; they no longer have to make rounds for necessary documents.

  • Important services of the Board of Secondary Education have come under the purview of Public Service Guarantee, students’ work will be completed within the stipulated time limit.

School Education Minister Shri Gajendra Yadav has taken the initiative to ensure that students and parents do not face unnecessary hassles regarding educational documents and receive their necessary documents on time. Following the Minister’s directive, various important services related to the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education have been time-bound under the Public Service Guarantee Act. This will relieve students of the hassle of repeatedly visiting offices to obtain their essential educational documents.
Under the new system, services such as duplicate migration certificates, duplicate mark sheets, recalculation and re-evaluation of answer sheets, and photocopies of answer sheets will be made available to students within the prescribed process and timeframe. According to the document, timeframes have also been established for these services. A 60-day deadline is set for duplicate migration certificates and duplicate mark sheets. Similarly, a 60-day deadline has been set for services related to recalculation, re-evaluation, and photocopies of answer sheets, following the prescribed process.
      Minister Shri Gajendra Yadav said that it is unacceptable for students to have to worry about their own documents. He added that every day after exam results is crucial for students. Timely availability of documents is essential for higher education admissions, scholarships, competitive exams, and other academic pursuits. Providing a simple, transparent, and timely system for students is the government’s priority.
      Minister Shri Yadav stated that our effort is to ensure students focus on their studies and their future, and not waste their time and energy running around government offices. The objective of linking services to timelines through the Public Service Guarantee Scheme is to ensure students have clear access to their essential needs and avoid unnecessary delays. He added that under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, the state government is continuously working towards making the education system student-centric. The School Education Department strives to provide students with convenient and transparent services at every level, from school to examinations and higher education. In this regard, timely services related to the Board of Secondary Education will provide significant relief to students and their parents.
        Education Minister Mr. Yadav has directed officials to handle student matters with sensitivity and ensure adherence to established deadlines. The government’s clear objective is to ensure that no student faces unnecessary hassles simply for obtaining documents or completing examination-related procedures.
        This system will particularly benefit students who require services related to duplicate mark sheets, migration certificates, or answer sheets for further studies, admissions, or other academic purposes. Establishing time limits under the Public Service Guarantee will also ensure accountability and transparency in these tasks.
