 Finance Minister Shri OP Choudhary inaugurated ‘Kabir Kutir’ community hall.

Finance Minister and Raigarh MLA Shri OP Choudhary inaugurated the newly constructed community hall, “Kabir Kutir,” in Ward No. 35 (near Kabir Chowk) of the Raigarh Municipal Corporation area. Addressing the community at the ceremony, he emphasized community unity, education, and youth empowerment.

Minister Shri Choudhary stated that Kabir Das Ji’s life and thoughts continue to shape society. He emphasized that Kabir Ji was not only a saint but also a great social reformer and visionary thinker, whose teachings remain relevant even today.
In his address, the Finance Minister recalled his childhood close ties with the Panika-Mahant community, stating that his relationship with the community goes back many years and that he will always work for the society’s progress.

He emphasized that it is our collective responsibility to encourage emerging talents within the community and to inspire other youth to progress.
He urged the youth to pursue a systematic education and set goals for themselves. He informed that the state government is providing financial assistance to youth from Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes preparing for competitive examinations, especially the Union Public Service Commission ( UPSC ), to receive coaching in Delhi. He urged the youth to take maximum advantage of these schemes.
Minister Shri Choudhary stated that development work in Raigarh has gained unprecedented momentum in the last two and a half to three years. Several major development projects have been approved and are in various stages of implementation, the benefits of which will be available to the public in the future.

He stated that getting each project approved requires constant effort and hard work, and he personally monitors the development work in the area daily.
When the community raised the demand for a hostel at the event, the Finance Minister stated that the government is working in a planned manner, keeping the interests of all communities in mind. He added that hostels and various educational facilities for OBC students are being expanded. He also provided information about the “Prayas” residential institute operating in Raigarh and various skill development schemes.


The program was attended by Raigarh Municipal Corporation Mayor Shri Jeevardhan Chauhan, Municipal Corporation Chairman Shri Degreelal Sahu, District Panika-Mahant Samaj President Shri Gopal Das Mahant, District Panika-Mahant Samaj officials, public representatives, social workers, and a large number of community members.
