Finance Minister Shri OP Choudhary interacted with villagers at a public meeting held in Aamapali Gram Panchayat, within the Pusaur development block of Raigarh district, to learn about their problems and needs. During the meeting, he discussed development work in the area, the implementation of public welfare schemes, and local needs.
During the Jan Chaupal, an inspiring initiative was also unveiled by the mothers and sisters of the Gram Panchayat, Aamapali. The women voluntarily collected funds from the funds received through the Mahatari Vandan Yojana and dedicated them to the initial construction of the Lord Jagannath Temple. Finance Minister Mr. OP Chaudhary praised this initiative.
Finance Minister Mr. Chaudhary said that the Aamapali women have contributed to the temple’s construction by voluntarily and resolutely collecting funds. This is a living example of women’s economic contribution, as well as their social participation and leadership. He added that women, in addition to fulfilling their family responsibilities, are also playing a vital role in social and community development.
Minister Shri Chaudhary said that this voluntary contribution by women strengthens the spirit of mutual cooperation, participation, and collective responsibility in society. This initiative by the Amapali sisters is also inspiring for others.
