Villagers of Vananchal village Tupenga are benefiting from Jal Jeevan Mission
Thanks to the Jal Jeevan Mission, the villagers of Tupenga in Chhattisgarh now have access to clean drinking water at home. Tap water connections have been established in all 12 houses, eliminating the need to travel long distances to fetch water. This has brought great relief to the villagers, who are grateful to the government for the effective implementation of the mission.
Previously, the villagers had to rely on a single government hand pump and Jharia for water supply, causing many difficulties. With the installation of taps in every house, the health and productivity of the villagers have improved. Residents are now planning to plant vegetables in their gardens to make good use of the saved water and are committed to promoting water conservation in the village.
