- After the hearing, instructions were issued to the officials for implementation of the decisions.
The Chhattisgarh State Backward Classes Commission conducted a hearing on various complaints received today under the leadership of its Chairman, Mr. Nehru Ram Nishad, and Vice-Chairman, Mrs. Chandrakant Verma. Commission Secretary, Mr. Sankalp Sahu, and Research Officer, Mrs. Anita Dekate, were present.
During the hearing, the cases pending before the Commission were reviewed in detail, and all concerned parties were given an opportunity to present their views impartially. Commission Chairman Mr. Nishad listened seriously to the complainants’ concerns and issued necessary guidelines for a fair decision in accordance with the rules and regulations.
In the case of withholding of integrated pay hike of applicant Mr. Chandrakumar Sonkar, National Health Mission, Chhattisgarh assured to provide pay hike for the year 2018-19. On the complaint of applicant Mr. Suresh Kumar Yadav regarding reservation violation in Assistant Professor recruitment, both the parties were cross-examined and the government was asked to send a suggestion for issuing subject-wise post advertisement. Similarly, in the case of Mr. Naresh Kumar Dhiwar, an agreement was executed for payment of Rs. 1.80 lakh within 60 days.
Regarding the complaint submitted by applicants Shri Ramshankar Sahu and Shri Shailesh Kumar Swarnkar, the non-applicant, Superintending Engineer, Shri S.S. Bhupal, appeared and presented his side. The non-applicant stated that both applicants, dissatisfied with the transfers made as per the government’s orders, were submitting baseless and unfounded complaints against him. Furthermore, the case filed by applicants Shri Narendra Kumar Yadav and others against Baikunth Cement Company was heard in the presence of both parties. The non-applicant informed the Commission that the company’s contractors and representatives would be called for questioning on a future date. Following the hearing, necessary instructions were issued to the concerned officials for the prompt and effective implementation of the Commission’s decisions.
