Housing and Environment Minister O.P. Choudhary extended his heartfelt greetings and congratulations to the people of the state on the occasion of World Environment Day. In his congratulatory message, Minister Mr. Choudhary stated that a clean, safe, and balanced environment is the foundation of human life and sustainable development. Environmental protection is not only the government’s responsibility, but also the moral obligation of every citizen. He said that to protect nature and the environment, we must incorporate measures such as water, forest, and land conservation, as well as tree planting, water conservation, energy conservation, and pollution control into our daily lives.
Minister Shri Choudhary called on the people of the state to play an active role in environmental protection, saying that collective efforts must begin today to provide a clean and green environment for future generations. He expressed confidence that through public participation and awareness, Chhattisgarh can be made an ideal state in the field of environmental protection. On the occasion of World Environment Day, he appealed to all citizens to plant at least one tree and pledge to protect it.
