Indian Institute of Technology Bhilai has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)
with École Centrale de Nantes during the ongoing Bharat Innovates (Global Acceleration for
Indian Education Ecosystem) event being held in Nice, France, from 14–16 June 2026.
The MoU establishes a framework to promote international understanding, scholarly
collaboration, cultural interaction, and friendship by supporting educational, professional, and
cultural activities among faculty members and students of both institutions.
The Key Areas of Collaboration are Exchange of faculty members and joint academic
activities; Exchange of students; Joint research activities to establish multinational, multi-
institutional collaborations of common interest funded by private and/or government
sponsors; Participation in seminars and academic meetings; Exchange of academic materials
and other information; Special short-term academic programmes (e.g., summer research
programmes); and Study abroad programmes and Joint/Dual degree programmes.
This partnership represents an important milestone in strengthening global academic
engagement and advancing international collaboration in education, research, and innovation.
