Divisional Forest Officer of Raipur Forest Circle, Mr. Mayank Pandey, paid a courtesy call on Governor Mr. Ramen Deka at Lok Bhavan today. During this visit, the Governor received detailed information about the preparations being made by the Forest Department for World Environment Day to be held on June 5.
The Governor gave necessary guidelines to increase public awareness about environmental protection and ensure maximum public participation. He said that environmental protection should not be limited to just one day but should be adopted as a continuous social responsibility.
