- Administrative approval of over Rs 8.44 crore for construction of four rural link roads

Under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai, Jashpur district has received another important gift towards strengthening rural infrastructure. Under the budget provision for the year 2025-26, the state government has granted administrative approval of a total of Rs 8 crore 44 lakh 68 thousand for the construction of four major rural connectivity roads in the district. The construction of these roads will strengthen the connectivity of remote rural areas and will give a new impetus to transportation as well as education, health, agriculture and business activities. This decision of the government has created an atmosphere of enthusiasm and happiness among the people of the area.
According to the approval issued by the state government, ₹1,23,77,000 has been sanctioned for the construction of the 1.20-kilometer access road from Bulldega to Rechwaghat. This road will provide safe and easy transportation for villagers throughout the year and alleviate the difficulties of daily commuting.
Similarly, administrative approval of ₹34.66 million has been granted for the construction of the 3-kilometer access road from Khuntapani to Saliyamuda. This road is an important connecting route for many villages. The road’s construction will provide improved access for students to schools, patients to health institutions, and farmers to transport their agricultural produce.
An amount of ₹14.384 million has been approved for the construction of the 1.20-kilometer access road from Kosambhavana to Bangaon, including the construction of bridges and culverts. This project will permanently address the problem of traffic disruptions, especially during the rainy season, and provide safe transportation to villagers year-round.
Additionally, administrative approval of ₹230.40 million has been granted for the construction of a 2.50-kilometer access road from Bulldega Main Road via Sukbasupara to Bhinjpur. This road will strengthen the connectivity of many villages in the area and provide better transportation facilities to the villagers.
Upon completion, these projects will further strengthen road connectivity in the respective areas. Farmers will have easier access to markets, facilitate the movement of students and patients, and boost local trade and socio-economic activities.
Local public representatives and villagers expressed their gratitude to Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai, stating that the state government is consistently making public-friendly decisions, prioritizing rural development. They expressed confidence that these road construction projects will accelerate the region’s development and bring positive changes to the lives of the villagers.
