MATS School of Engineering & Information Technology celebrated Vishwakarma Pooja 2025 with deep devotion and enthusiasm, honouring Lord Vishwakarma, the divine architect and eternal symbol of craftsmanship, engineering, and innovation. Organized by the Department of Mechanical Engineering, the auspicious event brought together faculty members, students, and staff to seek the blessings of Lord Vishwakarma for skill, creativity, and technological excellence.
The occasion was graced by Hon’ble Chancellor Shri Gajraj Pagaria, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) K. P. Yadav, Hon’ble Director General Shri Priyesh Pagaria, and Registrar Shri Gokulnanda Panda, along with Dr. Brijesh Patel (Dean, Engineering) and other distinguished faculty members. The esteemed dignitaries performed the Pooja and Havan with heartfelt reverence, joined by faculty, staff, and students from various disciplines. The rituals beautifully reflected the University’s respect for tradition while inspiring everyone to pursue innovation and precision in their academic and professional endeavors.
In his address, Prof. (Dr.) K. P. Yadav highlighted the significance of Vishwakarma Pooja for the engineering community, emphasizing how the divine blessings of Lord Vishwakarma inspire engineers to create, design, and build with dedication and integrity. Shri Gajraj Pagaria, Shri Priyesh Pagaria, and Shri Gokulnanda Panda extended their blessings and best wishes to all participants, encouraging students to uphold the values of creativity, discipline, and technological excellence. Dr. Brijesh Patel expressed gratitude to everyone present and reiterated the Mechanical Engineering Department’s commitment to fostering practical skills, research-driven learning, and industry-ready talent.
The celebration concluded with the distribution of Prasad and a collective prayer for the success, safety, and prosperity of all students, faculty, and staff.
