Newly appointed Chairman of Chhattisgarh Yoga Commission, Mr. Sanjay Agarwal, paid a courtesy call on Chief Minister Mr. Vishnu Dev Sai today at the Chief Minister’s residence in the capital Raipur. Chief Minister Mr. Sai extended his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Mr. Sanjay Agarwal on his appointment as Chairman of Chhattisgarh Yoga Commission. The Chief Minister said that Yoga is an integral part of India’s ancient and glorious tradition, which is an effective medium to establish physical, mental and spiritual balance. He stressed on the need to make special efforts to make Yoga accessible to every person in the state and to connect youth, women and senior citizens with Yoga.

    During the meeting, various topics related to the promotion of yoga and making yoga-related activities more effective in the state were also discussed. He expressed confidence that under the leadership of Mr. Agarwal, the newly appointed Chairman of the Chhattisgarh Yoga Commission, efforts to promote yoga, raise public awareness, and promote a healthy lifestyle will gain new momentum in the state.
