- On the first day, the campaign reached more than 1 lakh 85 thousand people,

Ahead of the statewide public awareness campaign “ Nashe Se Dastri Hai Mazhoori 2.0” launched by the Madhya Pradesh Police with a resolution to make Madhya Pradesh drug free, mass awareness activities were organized across the state on this day. Through the campaign, the message of staying away from drugs and active participation in creating a drug-free society was conveyed to every section of the society about the ill-effects of drugs.
- The message reached more than 1 lakh 85 thousand people on the first day
A total of more than 600 awareness programs were organized in various districts , Police Training Schools ( PTS) and Channels ( BN) on 15th July. Through these programs on one day more than 1 lakh 85 thousand citizens , students , NCC cadets , and dignitaries were given oath to stay away from drugs and they were made aware of the ill effects of drugs.
As part of the campaign, awareness rallies , drug awareness runs , marathons , vehicle rallies , mass dialogues , oath and signature campaigns , street plays , quiz competitions , awareness chariots and awareness programs were organized in schools and colleges in various districts of the region. A large number of students , youth , teachers , public representatives , social organizations , NCC cadets , scout guides , village and town defense societies and common citizens participated in the campaign along with police officers and employees .
- In Indore, the robot gave the message of drug addiction , the quiz competition and the awareness rally became the center of attraction
There was active participation of students and youth in the programs organized in Indore. Through awareness rally , public interaction and quiz competition information was given about the ill effects of drugs and importance of drug free life. In the programme, the message of drug addiction was conveyed through the robot , which was the center of special attraction. An awareness rally was also organized by 340 newly trained constables and staff at RAPTC Indore .
- In Burhanpur, 7 thousand people took a resolution to stay away from drugs
In Burhanpur, a marathon and public awareness program was organized on the occasion of the launch of the district level anti-drug campaign , in which about 7 thousand people participated. Students , public representatives , city security committee members , police officers-employees and ordinary citizens were made aware of the ill effects of drugs and took an oath not to do drugs. Awareness programs were also organized at schools and public places in various police station areas.
- 5 thousand people took part in Zabua
Around 5 thousand people participated in the drug awareness run organized in Jhabua . Through street dramas by local artists, the message of the ill effects of drugs and drug-free life was conveyed to the masses.
- Awareness Chariot Launched in Tikamgarh , Campaign in All Police Station-Chowki Areas of the District
An awareness rally was taken out from the police line in Tikamgarh and the awareness chariot was dispatched. Police officers , employees , students and youth sportsmen took oath to boycott drugs and spread awareness about drug-free society. Oath and public awareness programs were also organized in all the police stations and outpost areas of the district. The message of the campaign is also being conveyed to the people through the medium of local language and artists.
- Participation of students , scout guides , Gram Raksha Samiti and social organizations with police in Agar-Malwa
The campaign in Agar-Malwa was launched by the Superintendent of Police. The program was attended by administrative officers , students , scout guides , Gram Raksha Samiti members and NGO representatives. An awareness program was organized from Thana Kotwali premises to Company Garden to make citizens aware of the ill effects of drugs. Public awareness activities were also organized in all police station areas of the district.
- 1000 people in Ujjain took the resolution of drug free society
In a program organized in Birlagram of Ujjain district, around 1000 people took a pledge to keep distance from drugs and cooperate in making the society drug free.
- Wide awareness through vehicle rallies and mass communication in Khargone , Dhar and other districts
In Khargone, policemen , students and ordinary citizens gave the message of drug freedom through rallies. A vehicle rally was organized in Dhar with the participation of senior police officers , public representatives , principals of educational institutions , teachers and students , which was taken out on various major roads of the district.
- Vidisha’s meditation , swearing and signature campaign became the center of attraction
Vidisha Superintendent of Police Mr. Rohit Kashwani interacted with the students and gave them an oath to be drug free. A resolution was taken to create a drug-free society through the signature campaign. Meditation , swearing and signature campaign were the special attraction in the programme.
- Mass communication with villagers and students in Sehore , awareness through social media
Police officers and employees were sworn in after launching the campaign in Sehore district. Citizens were made aware to stay away from drugs through mass communication in rural areas. In schools, students were given an oath by informing them about the side effects of drugs. An awareness video based on the message of the Superintendent of Police was circulated on social media platforms.
- Resolve on drug addiction in training institutions
313 new constables and staff undergoing training at Police Training School Pachmarhi were given an oath to stay away from drugs. A public awareness rally was conducted by 525 new constables and staff undergoing training at the Police Training School Sagar and the message of de-addiction was also broadcasted through Akashvani.
- Extensive public participation in other districts of the region
In other districts of the region including Jabalpur , Gwalior , Siwani , Katni , Khandwa , Umaria , Shahdol , Narmadapuram , Baitul , Chhatarpur , Chhindwara , Mandsaur , Ratlam , Sidhi, public awareness programs were also organized in schools-colleges , police stations , public places , markets , bus stands , rural areas and educational institutions.
In these programs citizens were made aware of the ill effects of drugs through rallies , swearing , signature campaigns , e-oath , mass communication , poster-pamphlet distribution , street plays , awareness vehicles and constructive activities at the local level. Social Justice Department , Educational Institutions , Voluntary Organizations , Brahmakumari Sansthan , Gram Raksha Samiti , NCC , Scout Guides and local citizens also actively participated in the campaign along with police in many districts .
Madhya Pradesh Police is working towards making public awareness against drug addiction a broad social movement through the campaign “ Nashe Se Dastri Hai Mazhoori 2.0” . The objective of the campaign is not only to create awareness about the ill-effects of drugs , but to ensure public participation in creating a drug-free Madhya Pradesh by uniting the youth and every section of the society against drugs.
Madhya Pradesh Police has appealed to the citizens to stay away from drugs themselves , make their families and people around them aware of the ill effects of drugs and play an active part in creating a drug free society.
