Chief Minister : Paid tribute to the martyr soldier

CM paid tribute to the martyr soldier Bharat Lal Sahu, who lost his life in a Naxal attack

Chief Minister Mr. Vishnu Dev Sai and Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Vijay Sharma visited the site of the IED blast carried out by Maoists in Tarrem, Bijapur district, where soldier Mr. Bharat Lal Sahu was martyred. They paid their respects by offering a floral wreath on the mortal remains of the soldier. The Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister then carried the mortal remains of the martyr on their shoulders to be taken to Saddu, Raipur for the final rites.

Mr. Vishnu Dev Sai expressed that in the IED blast that occurred in Tarrem, Bijapur district, our brave soldiers have made the ultimate sacrifice. As soon as our government was formed, we intensified our fight against the Maoists and are engaged in a decisive battle. The Chief Minister stated that the sacrifice of our soldiers will not go in vain.

During this time, Chief Minister Mr. Sai met with the family members of the martyr, Mr. Bharat Lal Sahu, and offered his condolences. He assured them of the government’s support and reiterated the commitment to continue the fight against the Maoists to ensure the sacrifices made by the soldiers are honored and remembered. The visit aimed to show solidarity with the bereaved family and to acknowledge the bravery and sacrifice of the soldier.
