Chief Minister Mr. Vishnu Deo Sai held a cordial meeting today with Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh at his residence in Raipur. During the meeting, the two leaders held detailed discussions on various topics, including the proposed gas-based fertilizer plant by GAIL (India) Limited in Rajnandgaon, the Electronics Manufacturing Cluster 2.0, and matters related to the state’s industrial and economic development.

Chief Minister Mr. Sai stated that the proposed gas-based fertilizer plant by GAIL (India) Limited in Rajnandgaon would prove to be a significant project for the region’s industrial development. This project will create new opportunities for local employment and self-employment while also boosting ancillary industries and business activities. He noted that it would accelerate economic activities in Rajnandgaon and surrounding areas, thereby strengthening the state’s economy.

Chief Minister Mr. Sai remarked that the state government is continuously working to create a favorable environment for industries and to encourage investment in Chhattisgarh. Along with expanding industries that hold new potential, the government is promoting modern technology and high-value manufacturing. The Electronics Manufacturing Cluster 2.0 is a key initiative in this direction, aimed at establishing Chhattisgarh as an emerging hub for electronics and modern manufacturing.

Chief Minister Mr. Sai added that the coordinated efforts of the central and state governments have opened up new possibilities for major industrial projects and investments in Chhattisgarh. “Our endeavor is to ensure that investments coming into the state serve as a means for employment for local youth, regional development, and economic prosperity,” he said. The proposed fertilizer project in Rajnandgaon will also be a significant step in this direction.
