Science of Human Energy and Aura Explained Through the Synthesis of Indian Tradition and Modern Medical Science

  • Experts Provide Insights into Concepts of *Panchakosha*, *Shat-Chakra*, and Aura at the ‘Self-Realization’ Workshop

A workshop themed ‘Self-Realization’ (Swayam se Sakshatkar) was organized under the joint aegis of the Chhattisgarh State Electricity Regulatory Commission and Chhattisgarh State Power Companies. During the workshop, Swami Mahesh and Dr. Anil Gupta explained the concepts of energy, consciousness, and the aura—as described in Indian tradition—within the context of modern medical science.
Commission Member Shri Vivek Ganodwale, Secretary Shri Suryaprakash Shukla, and Managing Directors of the Power Companies—Shri S.K. Katiyar, Shri Rajesh Kumar Shukla, and Shri Bhim Singh Kanwar—were notably present at the workshop.

Elaborating on the Apara Vidya (knowledge of the material world) and Para Vidya (knowledge of the transcendental/spiritual realm) described in the Indian tradition of knowledge, Swami Mahesh stated that Apara Vidya is knowledge that can be acquired through the senses—by seeing, reading, and understanding—whereas Para Vidya relates to subtle and internal realization.

He explained that coordination between the body’s nervous system and the senses is established through the soul and the mind. He also detailed the concept of the Panchakosha (five sheaths) within the human body: Annamaya Kosha, Pranamaya Kosha, Manomaya Kosha, Vijnanamaya Kosha, and Anandamaya Kosha.

Dr. Anil Gupta shed light on the flow of energy within the human body and the concept of the Shat-Chakra (six energy centers). He noted that every individual possesses a unique aura and highlighted that the Indian tradition discusses the development of inner energy and consciousness.

The program was conducted by Deputy General Manager (Public Relations) Shri Govind Patel. Smt. Prachi Srivastava, Joint Director of the Commission, introduced the guests.
