Tourism Secretary Shri Mukesh Kumar stated that ‘Tourist Mitras’ play a vital role in providing local information, assistance, and guidance to visitors at various tourist destinations across the state. Meanwhile, the hotel and hospitality sector contributes by offering superior services to tourists.
Other stakeholders in the tourism sector have also helped showcase Jharkhand’s tourist destinations, natural beauty, and diverse experiences to new audiences across the country and the world through their digital reach and creative content. He was addressing a ceremony held at the historic Audrey House in Ranchi on Sunday to mark World Tourism Day. The event began with a heartfelt tribute and the offering of floral tributes to the late Minister Shri Sudivya Kumar.

During the ceremony, ‘Tourist Mitras’ and other stakeholders contributing to enhancing the tourism experience and gaining wider recognition for tourism in the state were honored.
