Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao inspected the block-level ‘Seva ke Rang’ (Colors of Service) Rangoli event held today at the Manas Manch in Lormi, organized under the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ (Service Resolve Campaign). During the visit, he appreciated the captivating Rangolis created by artists and students.

Shri Sao interacted with the female students to learn in detail about the themes, objectives, and messages behind their Rangolis. The students explained that they had depicted subjects such as water conservation, a Developed India, women’s empowerment, Digital India, and Swachh Bharat (Clean India) through their artwork. The Deputy Chief Minister praised the students’ creativity and enthusiasm.

Deputy Chief Minister Shri Sao remarked that the spirit of service and the vision of a Developed India have been beautifully expressed through the medium of Rangoli. Shri Ravi Paikra, a Rangoli artist from Kota, created a magnificent Rangoli representing a Developed India using approximately 175 kg of materials. This artwork presents the resolve for a Developed India in a captivating manner.

Girls from eight schools created Rangolis on various themes during the event. Diverse facets of service—ranging from water conservation to Digital India, Swachh Bharat, and women’s empowerment—were brought to life through these Rangolis.


Shri Sao stated that the objective of the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ is to take the vision of a Developed India to every citizen. The aim is for every individual to connect with the concept of a Developed India and understand their role in building it. Conveying Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s message of the spirit of service and public welfare to the masses is also a key objective of this campaign.
