The Chief Minister handed over the keys of the interceptor vehicles to the DGP

The Chief Minister, Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, has shown 15 new interceptor vehicles. These vehicles will be helpful in effective control of road accidents in Chhattisgarh. The vehicles were dispatched from the Chief Minister’s residence, Raipur, to 15 districts. The Chief Minister handed over the keys of the interceptor vehicles to the DGP. He also appealed to people to follow traffic rules and be responsible. On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma, Forest Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap, MP Shri Santosh Pandey, and MLA Shri Anuj Sharma were also present. The Chief Minister also took information about the utility and technical features of the vehicles. Strict action will be taken against speeding, drink and drive, and violation of road safety rules. The vehicles are equipped with speed radars, breath analyzers, and surveillance cameras. The transparency of the vehicle’s glass and the intensity of the sound will also be checked.
