The Directorate of Economics and Statistics successfully conducted a two-day hands-on training program for the effective implementation of the Periodic Labor Force Survey ( PLFS) conducted under the National Sample Survey ( NSS) . Directorate officials provided necessary guidelines to ensure the quality and timeliness of the survey. This training significantly increased the efficiency of the participants , which will play an important role in the effective conduct of the ( PLFS) survey.
This training was held recently in the Directorate’s training room , and survey officers and trainees from various districts participated. During the training, participants were briefed on the entire survey process , including a detailed understanding of questionnaires , data collection methods, and solutions to practical challenges encountered in the field. Additionally , through hands-on exercises, participants were provided with practical experience conducting surveys in real-world conditions .
