Deputy Chief Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla reviewed the progress of various subjects and schemes of Public Health and Medical Education Department in the Ministry. He directed to ensure timely resolution of all pending cases while expediting departmental work. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla said that the departmental proceedings related to the upgradation of district hospitals and the creation and approval of new posts should be completed soon so that the health services can be more effective and better. He directed that the nursing recruitment examinations should be conducted in a timely manner and regular monitoring of the entire process should be ensured.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla said that the posting orders of the bonded doctors should be issued soon and necessary steps should be taken to ensure the timely posting and availability of the identified doctors. Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Shukla speeding up the process of promotion of specialist doctors and other doctors and directed to complete it soon. Additional Chief Secretary, Public Health and Medical Education, Shri Ashok Barnwal was present in the meeting.
