The opening of a new State Bank of India branch in Pandripani, in the Farsabahar tehsil area of Jashpur district, thanks to Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai, has fulfilled a long-standing demand of the area’s residents. With the opening of the new branch, villagers from Pandripani and approximately 60 surrounding villages are now able to access banking services within their own area. This will reduce the hassle of traveling long distances for banking purposes and save villagers time and travel costs.
Previously, villagers from Pandripani and surrounding areas had to travel to Farsabahar, approximately 5 kilometers away, for banking purposes. With the opening of the SBI branch in Pandripani, they now have access to essential banking services within their own area. This has made banking services easier and more convenient in rural areas.

The new bank branch will directly benefit various sections of society including farmers, laborers, businessmen, women, employees and pensioners. With banking facilities available at the local level, farmers will not have to travel far for other banking services including agricultural loans.
