Brilliant performance by Madhya Pradesh Academy in National Taekwondo Championship

In the 1st India Taekwondo Youth National Championship held at Cuttack, Odisha from 29th to 31st July 2026, the players of Madhya Pradesh State Taekwondo Academy performed well and bagged 1 silver and 3 bronze medals. This achievement of the sportspersons has once again established the effective training system of Madhya Pradesh’s sports talent and academy at the national level.

Madhya Pradesh’s talented sportsperson Reva Gurjar won the silver medal in the 63 kg weight category of the competition by playing a strong match. His confidence, technical acumen and brilliant performances throughout the tournament caught everyone’s attention.

  • Three athletes added bronze medals to their achievements

Three other players of the academy also put up a good performance and bagged bronze medals. Harshit Baghel lit up the name of Madhya Pradesh by winning bronze medal in 63 kg category, Asmi Bharti in 55 kg category and Manya Mishra in more than 63 kg category. This collective performance by the players gave new recognition to the preparations of the academy and the hard work of the players on the national stage.
