Nashamukt Bharat Abhiyan program held in Government Polytechnic College

Jijamata Government Polytechnic College, Burhanpur organized an awareness and pledge program under the 10 Crore Drug Free Pledge Mahabhiyan-2026 on Thursday.

The principal of the college said that the medical wing of Prajapita Brahmakumari Iswariya University is conducting drug-free and public-awareness programs across the country under the MoU signed with the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment of the Government of India under Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan.

During the program students were made aware about the side effects of drugs, social and health related harms caused by drugs and the importance of healthy lifestyle. The students were motivated to stay away from drugs and make their families and society also drug free. At the end of the program, the students and staff present collectively took the pledge of Nasha Mukt Bharat.
