During the holy month of Shravan, devotees’ enthusiasm for Lord Shiva’s devotion is at its peak. In this context, Chhattisgarh Government Tourism and Culture Minister Mr. Rajesh Agrawal warmly welcomed and honored the pilgrims embarking on the Kanwar Yatra from Ramgarh to Kailash Cave. He met the pilgrims, inquired about their journey, and wished them a happy, safe, and successful journey.

Minister Shri Rajesh Agrawal said that the Kanwar Yatra, undertaken during the month of Shravan, is not merely a religious journey, but a journey of faith, devotion, penance, and dedication. The devotees’ unwavering faith and belief in Lord Shiva is evident in this journey. Despite the challenging conditions and long distances, Kanwar pilgrims complete their journey with enthusiasm and devotion. This journey symbolizes the devotees’ spiritual energy and their deep belief in Lord Shiva.
Welcoming the Kanwar pilgrims, he prayed to Lord Shiva for a pleasant, safe, and successful journey for all pilgrims. He said that Baba Shiva should shower his blessings on all Kanwar pilgrims and fulfill their wishes.

The Kanwar Yatra pilgrims heading from Ramgarh to the Kailash Caves exhibit a deep faith and enthusiasm for Lord Shiva. Devotees are carrying the Kanwar with devotion and proceeding on their journey. At various locations along the route, pilgrims are being welcomed, served, and honored. This has created an atmosphere of devotion and service along the route.

Minister Shri Rajesh Agrawal said that religious pilgrimages strengthen the spirit of brotherhood, service, harmony, and solidarity in society. Serving Kanwar pilgrims, providing them with necessary amenities, and encouraging them is also a form of devotion to Lord Shiva. He said that devotion, service, and community participation have special significance in the religious and cultural traditions of Chhattisgarh.
He appealed to all pilgrims to exercise caution, maintain discipline, and follow the guidelines issued by the administration during the journey. He also urged them to maintain cleanliness and consider the convenience of others along the Kanwar Yatra route.
On this occasion, the entire atmosphere was filled with devotion and echoed with chants of “Har Har Mahadev.” The pilgrims expressed their gratitude to Minister Rajesh Agrawal for his warm welcome and good wishes.
