- Discussion on successful organization of training program on women’s rights, awareness and empowerment
The Chhattisgarh State Women’s Commission is taking important initiatives to protect women’s rights, raise awareness, and empower them. In this regard, Dr. Mamta Sahu, Chairperson of the Chhattisgarh State Women’s Commission, paid a courtesy visit to Mrs. Vijaya Rahatkar, Chairperson of the National Commission for Women, at the National Commission for Women’s office in New Delhi.
On this occasion, a detailed and important discussion took place regarding the proposed training program in Chhattisgarh. Dr. Mamta Sahu received necessary guidance from the National Commission for Women for the successful and effective conduct of the training program. Emphasis was placed on effectively disseminating information about women’s rights, protection provisions, and available support mechanisms through the program.
This training program, proposed under the direction and guidance of the National Commission for Women, will prove to be an important initiative in raising awareness about women’s rights, as well as empowering women to be aware of their rights and self-reliant. Through the training, efforts will be made to provide practical information on topics related to women’s empowerment and to strengthen awareness at the grassroots level.
