Finance Minister Shri OP Choudhary today formally laid the foundation stone for the construction of an RCC drain in Ward No. 34 of Raigarh city. The completion of this construction will provide improved drainage facilities to the residents of the ward and is expected to provide relief from the problem of waterlogging in the area.
On this occasion, Finance Minister Mr. Chaudhary stated that special attention is being paid to expanding basic civic amenities and strengthening infrastructure for the development of Raigarh city. Continuous efforts are being made to provide a better and more convenient environment for city residents by developing essential amenities including roads, drains, and drinking water.
He stated that development work is being prioritized based on the local needs of the wards. Construction of RCC drains will streamline rainwater drainage and improve sanitation and civic amenities.Local public representatives, officers-employees and a large number of ward residents were present in the foundation stone laying ceremony.
