Acting on the instructions of Raipur Municipal Corporation Commissioner Shri Sambit Mishra, and under the guidance of Zone 7 Commissioner Dr. Trupti Panigrahi and in the presence of Zone 7 Health Officer Shri Atmanand Sahu, officials inspected the ground reality regarding public complaints. They took action against four dairy operators running businesses in the residential ‘Bhaisthan’ areas—specifically near the Shri Shyam Khatu Temple in Samta Colony and the Shri Ganesh Temple near Agrasen Chowk.
These operators were issued a stern warning regarding future compliance and were collectively fined ₹14,000 for allowing their livestock to roam freely on the streets and causing unsanitary conditions.Under the guidance of the Zone 7 Commissioner, the Zone 7 Health Department imposed on-the-spot e-fines after verifying public complaints.
Fines were levied as follows: ₹5,000 on dairy operator Rahul Singh Thakur (near Agrasen Chowk, Mangalam Plaza, and the Shri Ganesh Temple/Municipal Corporation Colony area) and ₹3,000 each on dairy operators Raju Sonkar, Horilal Yadav, and Santosh Sonkar (near the Shri Shyam Khatu Temple/Samta Colony road).
A total fine of ₹14,000 was imposed on these four operators for allowing their livestock to roam freely on the streets, and the public complaints received were promptly addressed at the zonal level.
