- Botanical garden will be developed on public private partnership model.
Nandanvan, located in Atari village of Raipur district, will now be redeveloped in a new and attractive form. During a high-level meeting held at Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhawan, officials of the Forest and Climate Change Department presented the proposed Nandanvan redevelopment project to Chief Secretary Mr. Vikassheel.
- ‘Project Highlights’
An investment of approximately ₹50 crore is estimated for the rejuvenation and development of Nandanvan. The entire project will be based on a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model. The Botanical Garden will be revitalized and redeveloped to strengthen infrastructure and promote environmental protection. The Chief Secretary has issued strict instructions to develop various public amenities within the project, keeping in mind the convenience and attraction of tourists.
The review meeting, chaired by the Chief Secretary, was attended by Mr. Manoj Kumar Pingua, Additional Chief Secretary, Forest and Climate Change Department, Dr. Rohit Yadav, Secretary, Finance Department, Mr. Ankit Anand, Secretary, Housing and Environment Department, Mr. Chandan Kumar, CEO,
