- From September 17, the village to the city will see “Seva Sankalp”
- Minister Shri Tank Ram Verma is busy in making the “Seva Sankalp Abhiyan” a mass movement, reviewed the preparations and gave instructions.
Revenue and Higher Education Minister Shri Tank Ram Verma today gave necessary guidelines to the officials in a review meeting held in the meeting hall of the Collector’s office regarding the preparations for the “Seva Sankalp Abhiyan” in Sarangarh-Bilaigarh district. Minister Shri Verma prepared a strategy with administrative officials, public representatives and social organizations to give this nationwide campaign, which will run from September 17 to October 17, 2026, a comprehensive, effective and grand form in the district.
At the meeting, Minister Shri Verma stated that this campaign is being organized to express gratitude for Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s 25 years of unparalleled public service and leadership, and to strengthen the resolve for a “Developed India by 2047.” He directed that this event should not be limited to the district headquarters, but should take the form of a mass movement, from the district, tehsil, town council, and even remote village panchayats. Active participation will be ensured from every section of society, including youth, women, self-help groups, and senior citizens.
- Various activities will be organised throughout the month
The campaign will be launched on the evening of September 17th by lighting a “blessing lamp” at major religious, historical, and cultural sites in the district. Similarly, the India of 25 Crore Children’s Dreams campaign will be held from September 17th to October 7th. Under this campaign, a glimpse of the new generation’s dream India will be seen through painting and speech competitions in all government and private schools.

Aangan Ka Utsav will be organised from September 25 to October 7 at all Anganwadi centres in the district to spread awareness on schemes related to nutrition and women and child development and outstanding workers will be honoured. Under Seva Setu – Government at your doorstep, special camps will be organised at the development block and assembly level to provide benefits of the schemes on the spot to eligible beneficiaries. Kahaani Badlaav Ki and Namo Seva Gatha will compile inspiring stories of positive changes in people’s lives due to public welfare schemes and public awareness will be raised through street plays. Similarly, Seva Mera Yogdan and Seva Jyoti Yatra will organise public participation tours across the district along with cleaning of rivers and ghats and public service works.
The Collector informed the meeting that preparations for the campaign by the district administration are in the final stages and that a date-wise program outline has been prepared in coordination with all departments. District Panchayat Chairman Mr. Sanjay Bhushan Pandey, Superintendent of Police, District Panchayat CEO, local public representatives, former MLAs, and senior administrative officers of the district were present at the meeting.
