Shri Rajesh Moonat, MLA for Raipur West, attended the induction ceremony of Government Nagarjun Postgraduate Science College, Raipur, as the chief guest. On this occasion, he warmly welcomed and congratulated all the students enrolling in the college, especially the newly admitted first-year students.
In his address, Shri Rajesh Moonat urged students to set clear goals in life and move forward with complete dedication, diligence, and hard work. He stated that whatever responsibilities one undertakes in life should be fulfilled with a positive mindset and commitment. Today, our daughters are continuously advancing and showcasing their talent and capability in every field, which is a matter of pride for society and the nation.
MLA Shri Moonat remarked that Government Nagarjun Postgraduate Science College is a prestigious educational institution in Raipur. Many students who completed their studies here have achieved success in their respective fields. The experienced and learned faculty members of the college have played a significant role in this success.
Emphasis on Expanding the Academic Environment and Facilities
Providing details about the ongoing and proposed development works at the college, Shri Moonat announced that the construction of an ‘Oxy-zone’ costing ₹7 crore would begin soon on the campus. Additionally, work on a library costing ₹80 lakh will also commence shortly, while the construction of a canteen at a cost of ₹25 lakh is currently in progress.
He stated that the expansion of modern facilities and infrastructure is essential to provide a better academic environment for students. These initiatives will ensure a more convenient and conducive atmosphere for the students’ studies. He stated that the construction of the new college building at Gudhiyari, costing ₹4.65 crore, is progressing rapidly.
He also mentioned that serious efforts are underway to ensure that instruction at Atari College is conducted in both English and Hindi mediums.
He noted that continuous efforts are being made to expand higher education facilities in the area.
Extending his best wishes to the students once again, Shri Moonat urged them to set life goals and strive continuously with dedication and hard work to achieve them. He remarked that the doors to success always remain open for students who move forward with firm determination and persistent effort.
