Today, the Mayor of the Raipur Municipal Corporation, Smt. Meenal Chaubey, performed the bhumi pujan for the construction of a hall and the beautification of the garden at the Vardhman Vatika complex in Devendra Nagar Sector 5—situated in Shaheed Hemu Kalani Ward (Ward 28, Zone 2, under the Raipur North Assembly constituency). The project, sanctioned at a cost of ₹21 lakh under the infrastructure and environmental cess fund, was inaugurated by the Mayor and Ward 28 Councilor Smt.
Kritika Jain. The ceremony took place in the presence of office-bearers of the Vardhman Vatika Garden Management Committee, prominent citizens, social workers, youth, and a large number of local women, marking a significant contribution from the Raipur Municipal Corporation to the residents.
Mayor Smt. Meenal Chaubey instructed the Executive Engineer of Zone 2, Shri P.D. Ghritlahare, to commence the work at the Vardhman Vatika complex immediately. She emphasized the need for continuous monitoring to ensure that the project is completed within the stipulated timeframe, maintaining high-quality standards and prioritizing the public interest.
Ward Councilor Smt. Kritika Jain expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Mayor Smt. Meenal Chaubey, on behalf of all the residents of the ward, for initiating the development, beautification, and hall construction work at Vardhman Vatika, Devendra Nagar Sector 5.
