- ‘Namo Drone Didi’ scheme is improving livelihoods
The sensitive initiative of the Chief Minister of the state, Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, and the efforts initiated towards making women self-reliant, are awakening a new confidence in the lives of rural women. In this series, ‘Drone Didi’ Mrs. Bhuvaneshwari Sahu of Parsada Dang of Gunderdehi development block has received ‘Vishnu’s letter’ as a special message from the Chief Minister. Bhuvaneshwari Sahu was overjoyed to receive the heartfelt message and congratulatory letter from the Chief Minister and she has got a photo framed to preserve this precious message forever.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, through his “Pati,” praised Mrs. Bhuvaneshwari Sahu’s efforts toward self-reliance. In the letter, Chief Minister Shri Sai extended greetings to Bhuvaneshwari and her entire family on Chhattisgarh State Foundation Day and wished them a bright future.

Mrs. Bhuvaneshwari Sahu, active as a “Drone Didi” in the district, said that the ambitious “Namo Drone Didi” scheme of the central and state governments has given her life a new direction. Through the scheme, she received technical training and became involved in modern agricultural techniques. By spraying pesticides and fertilizers in the fields using modern methods, she is not only helping farmers but also earning a respectable and strong livelihood, providing financial support to her family.

Expressing her joy at receiving the “Vishnu ki Patti” from Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, Mrs. Bhuvaneshwari Sahu said that receiving the congratulatory message from the Chief Minister of the state is a matter of great privilege and pride for her. She said that in the “Pati,” Chief Minister Shri Sai mentioned her, her husband, and children, and wished the entire family well for their future. Reading it, the entire family was overwhelmed. To preserve this sacred message, she has had it framed and preserved.
