The book “Yug Pravartak Guru Ghasidas Satnam Panth Aur Anuschhak” (The Era of the Guru Ghasidas, the Follower of the Satnam Panth), written with the aim of spreading Baba Guru Ghasidas Ji’s great humanitarian philosophy, social harmony, truth, equality and Satnam ideology globally, was released and discussed in a very dignified atmosphere at the Minimata Auditorium in New Rajendra Nagar, Raipur. This important book, written by Dr. Udaynath Kurre (Professor, Department of English, Dr. Indrajit Singh Government College, Akaltara), has been published separately in Hindi and English.
- Presentation of the Satnam sect from an academic and global perspective
This book makes a commendable effort to present the thoughts of Guru Ghasidas Ji, his historic social reform movement, the ideological background of the Satnami sect, and the role of his followers from academic, social, and global perspectives. The program was presided over by Mr. K.P. Khande, former Chairman of the Scheduled Castes Commission. The presence of numerous eminent personalities from literature, education, administrative services, and the Satnami community on this occasion gave the event special historical significance.
- Keynotes and Recollections of the Speakers
At the beginning of the program, author Dr. Udaynath Kurre delivered a welcome address, sharing his writing journey. He stated that Baba Guru Ghasidas’s thoughts are not limited to any one community, but are for the entire human society. The Hindi and English editions of this book will effectively convey these ideas to national and international readers. Principal Dr. Pyare Lal Adile described the book as a comprehensive academic reference text, saying it will prove extremely useful for researchers and students in understanding social change and human equality.
Dr. Shyamlal Nirala, calling it a timeless work, said that it would inspire the present and future generations to follow the path of truth and virtue. Prof. Ramayan Prasad Tandon and Prof. B.K. Patel called for the publication of such a prose and investigative book after the year 1983 as a historic step. Mr. L.L. Kosle and Mr. S.L. Mate called for organizational unity to spread the thoughts of Guru Ghasidas ji to the entire society. Dr. Dadulal Joshi, while delivering the keynote address, said that this book would also provide important study material for international level researchers.

The program was effectively and systematically conducted by retired professor Dr. P.D. Sonkar. At the end of the ceremony, copies of the book were presented to the guests. This prestigious event has served to spread the message of Guru Ghasidas to the masses and given a new direction to ideological discourse.
