MATS University Organizes Blood Donation and Health Checkup Camp in Collaboration with Bilasa Blood Centre.

MATS University, in collaboration with Bilasa Blood Centre, organized a highly impactful Blood Donation and Free Health Checkup Camp on 20 September 2025 at the Engineering Block, Arang Campus. The event was conducted under the able guidance and constant support of Hon’ble Chancellor Shri Gajraj Pagaria, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) K. P. Yadav, Hon’ble Director General Shri Priyesh Pagaria, Registrar Shri Gokulnanda Panda, and Dr. Brijesh Patel (Dean, Engineering), whose leadership played a vital role in ensuring the success of the initiative.
The camp was jointly initiated by MATS University and Bilasa Blood Centre with the objective of promoting health awareness, voluntary blood donation, and traffic safety among students and staff. Held from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, the event saw active participation and overwhelming enthusiasm from the entire university community. Almost all students took part in the blood donation and health checkup camp, reflecting their strong commitment to social responsibility and personal well-being.
In a unique and thoughtful move, helmets were distributed to blood donors as a part of the university’s road safety awareness campaign. The health camp featured vital screenings, doctor consultations, and eye checkups by qualified medical professionals, providing valuable health insights to all attendees.
This event was a shining example of how MATS University continues to go beyond academics by fostering a culture of empathy, civic sense, and community wellness. Initiatives like these inspire students to be responsible citizens while also developing as future-ready professionals.
