Digital empowerment in every village

Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Laxmi Rajwade said that taking Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s Digital India campaign to every village is a priority for the state government. To this end, Atal Panchayat Digital Facilitation Centers are being established in the district, so that rural areas can access all CSC services, including banking, at the panchayat level.
Minister Smt. Rajwade was addressing a meeting held at the Surajpur District Panchayat office. All the district’s sarpanches and VLEs authorized by the CSC were present.
It was discussed in the meeting that through Atal Panchayat Digital Facilitation Centre, banking services, electricity bill payment, pension and insurance schemes, Aadhar and other government scheme services will be available to the villagers directly at the Panchayat level.

Minister Smt. Rajwade said that these centers will save villagers time and resources, while also advancing their digital empowerment. She appealed to sarpanches and VLEs to work with transparency and accountability to ensure that these services reach as many people as possible.
MLA Shri Bhulan Singh Maravi, District Panchayat President Smt. Chandramani Paikra, other public representatives and administrative officers were present in large numbers in the meeting.
