Cleanliness and tree plantation program in Barnawapara under Seva Pakhwada

 As per the instructions of Forest and Climate Change Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap, cleanliness and tree plantation programmes were organised in Barnawapara Sanctuary under Seva Pakhwada (17 September to 2 October).

Under the guidance of Divisional Forest Officer, Balodabazar, Mr. Dhammasheel Ganvir, and the leadership of Superintendent, Barnawapara, Mr. Krishanu Chandrakar, a cleanliness drive was launched on September 23. Public representatives and villagers from various villages cleaned the area and pledged to maintain a clean environment.

In this context, a tree-planting program was held at the Primary School, Akaltara. School teachers, students, the village deputy sarpanch, the chairman of the Forest Management Committee, and villagers participated. Everyone planted fruit-bearing and shade-producing trees and pledged to take responsibility for their care.

These programs were conducted by Forest Range Officer Mr. Gopal Prasad Verma and Trainee Forest Range Officer Mr. Rahul Upadhyay. On this occasion, the local community and students shared the message of promoting cleanliness and greenery.
