School Education Minister Shri Gajendra Yadav today conducted a surprise inspection of various schools in Durg district. School operations were found to be proper at the Government Primary School, Ganiyari. At the same time, the Minister expressed his displeasure when he found teachers sitting in the staff room during the main subject period at the Government Pre-Secondary School/High School, Ganiyari, and directed that no NGO or outsider be allowed to enter the school without the permission of the District Education Officer. Instructions were also given to issue a notice to the in-charge Principal, Mrs. Rajni Purohit, on her actions.


The minister expressed his appreciation after observing the school operations and interacting with the students at Swami Atmanand Utkrisht English Medium School, Nagpura. On the demand of the head of the institution, the construction of a dome and separate toilets for boys and girls was announced and an assurance was given to conduct recruitment after testing for the vacant posts. On finding the practical work of Physics and Chemistry subjects incomplete in Government Higher Secondary School, Hirri Dhamdha, the minister expressed his displeasure over the work of in-charge Principal Maniram Mandare and Physics lecturer Kalpana Shukla and directed to issue a notice for improvement.


The Minister praised the teaching system run by Mrs. Hariharno, Headmistress, at the Pre-Secondary School, Hirri. At the Government Higher Secondary School, Litia, free Saraswati bicycles were distributed to eligible girl students and the construction of a dome was announced. When students were asked about their future goals, they expressed aspirations to become doctors, engineers, IAS officers, and teachers, prompting the Minister to wish them all a bright future.
During the inspection, Minister Shri Gajendra Yadav paid special attention to the quality of education, school management, practical work and development of girl students and gave instructions to ensure improvement in all the schools, necessary construction work and bright future of the students.
