Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that the land of Gujarat is working to connect religion, spirituality, Sanatan traditions, human welfare, and service values with consciousness in many nations, including India. This land once contributed to the nation through eminent personalities like Mahatma Gandhi and Sardar Patel, while now Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah are carrying forward this tradition. Today, the construction of Swami Narayan Akshar Dham’s traditional Hindu temples in Saudi Arabia, Abu Dhabi, and the United States, and over 600 temples in numerous countries around the world, are noteworthy. The creation of scripturally approved texts like “Satsang Diksha” and the creation of thousands of young, service-minded saints are elevating the Sanatan tradition. It is a matter of pride that Mahant Swami Maharaj’s life journey also has its roots in Madhya Pradesh.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing a function organized in Vadodara, Gujarat on Monday after receiving the darshan and blessings of revered Mahant Swami Maharaj on his 92nd birth anniversary. Congratulating Swami on his birthday, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav wished him a long life and expressed hope that Swamiji’s birth centenary celebrations would be held in a grander manner in the coming years. Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Bhai Patel was also present at the function.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Vadodara is not just a city but a symbol of that cultural consciousness where there is a long tradition of service along with devotion. The message of the Guru is spreading from this land, which is expressed in the lives of Lord Swami Narayan to Pujya Mahant Swamiji. This stream of nectar will continue to flow. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the group of saints resides in the form of God. Their collective presence is like many flowers blooming together in a garden. They enlighten the children with their teachings. These children will definitely work to revive the Indian culture. The children being initiated also deserve respect and congratulations.
- New record created for mass recitation of Sanskrit verses
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav described the simultaneous recitation of 315 verses from the book “Satsang Diksha” by Swamiji, by 15,666 children during Mahant Swami Maharaj’s 92nd birth anniversary celebrations, as an achievement. This activity also set a new Guinness World Record. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav and Gujarat Chief Minister Mr. Patel received Mahant Swami Maharaj’s blessings for public welfare. Swamiji greeted both Chief Ministers with garlands. A play focusing on the life and extraordinary glory of Shri Gunatitanand Swami was staged during the program. The play, which depicted Shri Bhagwat Singh, King of the Gond Empire, provided insight into Gunatitanand Swami’s social and religious work. Earlier, upon Chief Minister Dr. Yadav’s arrival at Vadodara International Airport, Gujarat Chief Minister Mr. Patel extended a warm welcome to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav.
