Sukma Collector Mr. Amit Kumar visited the Dornapal area on Sunday to inspect the ground reality of government schemes. He said that the real benefits of government schemes are ensured only when officials reach the ground level and directly observe the arrangements.
During a surprise inspection of the Community Health Center, the Collector reviewed cleanliness, drinking water, electricity, and other basic amenities. Keeping the summer season in mind, he directed that adequate coolers be provided for patients and that pending Janani Suraksha Yojana payments be expedited. He stated that 100% vaccination and safe institutional delivery are the health system’s priorities, and urged that no patient face inconvenience in seeking treatment.

At the Anganwadi center, the Collector sat among the children and had a cordial conversation, reviewing the progress of the “Tiranga Bhojan” and “Suposhan Chaupal.” He directed the renovation of dilapidated buildings, regular weight measurement, and coordinated efforts to eradicate malnutrition.
During the inspection of the PDS warehouse, the quality of rice was tested, and instructions were given to expedite the e-KYC process so that eligible beneficiaries can receive timely and quality food grains. During the review of the Revenue Department, it was directed to expedite the process of selecting a suitable site for the new tehsil office. Officials from the concerned departments were present during the inspection.
