Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren said that an important Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) is being signed between Punjab National Bank and the State Government. Punjab National Bank is joining forces with the state government today, marking a new chapter. The Chief Minister noted that banks play a crucial role in the financial transactions of both the general public and state government employees. Currently, banks play a significant role in every sector, including business, agriculture, and rural development. The Chief Minister noted that, in addition to these functions, many institutions also have social responsibilities. In light of this, an MoU was signed today between the state government and Punjab National Bank. Previously, MoUs have been signed between the state government and other banks, and work is progressing in accordance with these MoUs. He is confident that Punjab National Bank will successfully fulfill its mission and responsibilities with the state government. The improved coordination between the state government and Punjab National Bank will benefit both state government employees and the general public. Chief Minister Hemant Soren made these remarks during his address at the MoU signing ceremony for the salary account package for state government employees between the Jharkhand government and Punjab National Bank, held today in the auditorium of the Jharkhand Secretariat. The Chief Minister, on his behalf, extended his heartfelt best wishes and congratulations to the officers and employees of Punjab National Bank present at the MoU signing ceremony.
